Ingredients

  • 3 lb. grass-fed chuck roast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon coconut sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 3 cups beef bone broth
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 lbs. baby potatoes, halved
  • 2 lbs. carrots, halved

Instructions

Season the chuck roast with salt, coconut sugar, garlic powder, chili powder and paprika. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium-high heat and when hot, sear the meat on each side for 3 minutes or until browned. Set in the bottom of the crockpot.

Add bone broth and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet and whisk to combine.

Pour bone broth mixture over the meat and nestle the carrots and potatoes around the meat.

Cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 5-6 hours.

Serve with fresh rosemary and enjoy.
