Hey, it’s Dr. Jade Teta here.

A friend of mine told me the other day she felt like she didn’t “deserve” to relax. That she felt pressure to be productive, 24/7… and wasn’t allowed to take a break.

There’s a reason she gets sick all the time.

I’m writing this post in the midst of the coronavirus epidemic, where millions of people are under “stay at home” orders. And one silver lining of this strange experience is how it’s forced us all to slow… down… and… rest.

The ironic thing is, rest, relaxation, and coming back into the present moment is one of THE best things you can do to boost your immune system.

That’s because the constant stress many of us experience in our go, go, go lifestyles jacks up the hormone cortisol.

And cortisol is infamous for hijacking your metabolism… forcing fat on your belly… and disrupting immune function.

However, if you intentionally give yourself time to “rest right”… you can lower your cortisol, actively boost your immune system and even burn belly fat.

That’s right. I’m saying that by taking more naps, meditating, enjoying a bubble bath, and being creative… you might do more for your health than working out.

Cortisol is THAT powerful. And resting is THAT important.

I’ll explain exactly how it works in the video lecture below:

Remember, the most EFFECTIVE thing you can do to boost immunity is to strengthen your metabolism, because your metabolism POWERS your immune system.

So today, I encourage you to give yourself the gift of intentional rest.

I hope you’re enjoying this free immune system crash course. Please feel free to leave us a comment or question below!
