I gotta say — the harsh diets and intense exercise programs out there today drive me crazy.
Because they’re IMPOSSIBLE to stick to. And I hate seeing people beat themselves up for not having the “willpower” or “enough discipline” to stay on the wagon.
Let me be clear: the “one size fits all” programs out there are not designed for YOU.
It doesn’t matter HOW much willpower you have. You cannot “outwill” your metabolism. If some crazy crash diet is throwing your metabolism out of whack, your metabolism WILL force you to eat or rest.
That may look like “failure” from the outside. But it’s not. If anything, the program failed YOU. Because it failed to optimize your metabolism.

You see, there are TONS of things that use up your willpower on any given day… and saying “no” to that donut is only one of them. Many of them are hidden… and really insidious.
The good news is, there are also a TON of ways to not only recharge your battery… but increase your battery’s capacity, so you have more willpower at any given time.
And that’s how you’ll be able to eat better, stick with your exercise and movement plans with ease, and just feel more “in control” from day to day.

Remember, the most EFFECTIVE thing you can do to boost immunity is to strengthen your metabolism, because your metabolism POWERS your immune system.
And it takes some willpower to build metabolism-optimizing habits… like eating the right foods, moving, exercising, and most importantly RESTING.
That’s a whole lot easier with a bigger, fully charged willpower battery!
